It promotes strong plant health by naturally increasing resistance to disease and insect damage through significant root and cell wall development. Biology
BIO BOOST applications add microbial life to the soil, provides food for those microbes, and subsequently improves a plants’ ability to uptake nutrients. Our Bio Boost application begins with a patent-pending compost tea base that sets it apart from the competition. Unlike other bio-stimulants, it is a 100% plant-based organic compost tea with no animal or human by-products. This compost tea is teeming with beneficial living microbiological organisms, adding lots of valuable nutrients to the soil.
BIO BOOST applications then incorporates many other bio-nutritional products that help improve plant life and allow for a massive reduction in the amount of chemical fertilizer and pesticide inputs. Some of the key ingredients include:
Endo and Ecto Mycorrhizae:
A beneficial fungi that greatly improves root development in all plants, trees, shrubs and grass.
Trichoderma:
A beneficial fungi that works in conjunction with mycorrhizae to help root development. Trichoderma is largely created through a process involving shells of crabs, oysters, shrimp, lobster, etc. that create a chitin degrading bacteria. This bacteria makes chitin much more available to the plants. An increase in chitin helps build and strengthen the cell walls of plants. Thicker cell walls means better water retention and decreased susceptibility to insect and disease damage.
Humates:
A young peat-based hummate that includes humic, fulvic and amino acids, these go a long way to improve the cat ion exchange and allows the plant to uptake nutrients and pesticides much more efficiently at lower rates. Soils and plants treated with humates show fewer occurrences of fungus and disease.
Secret Sauce:
A dozen other botanical extracts are then layered in and include:
